MSC is a founding member of SGeT
SGeT e.V. is a registered technical and scientific association promoting new open specifications developed as a team effort through the association’s Standardization Development Teams (SDT). More than 40 companies joined the SGeT from the very beginning with an objective of quickly adopting new technologies and market requirements in the industry open specifications used by its members.
SGeT operates as a non-profit organization and its funds can be only used for purposes in accordance with the Statute of the association. The members receive no financial benefits from the entity's funds.
Other companies from the embedded computing industry are invited to join the association and contribute their ideas. In addition to embedded computer manufacturers at board and system level the invitation also extends to chip and connector manufacturers, research and educational institutions, embedded system integrators, OEM solution providers and industrial users.
Currently SGeT is engaged in finalizing the SMARC™ 2.0 specification (SGeT SDT.01) and in improving the current Qseven™ specification (SGeT SDT.02). MSC was one of the founding members of the Qseven specification, and is actively involved in the specification process for Qseven and SMARC.
